Come spend Fridays with Ms. Ona and Ms. Megan at Firefly Valley Pottery for pottery, crafting and cooking with Mr. Kendrick! We will meet March 21-May 23rd, 2025 for ten weeks on Fridays, 10am-4pm . Single day "try it out" tickets are available.

Fall Freedom Fridays 10 Week Series
Our Unique Curriculum: Fall Freedom Fridays is a full-day, pottery and cooking based homeschool enrichment program at Firefly Valley Pottery Studio in West Asheville, NC. This Spring, we will focus on pottery, cooking and fiber arts from Japan! We will complete a ceramic hand building project in the morning that corresponds with a cooking or gardening project in the afternoon. (For example, we have made ceramic Japanese tea bowls in the morning and then make herbal teas and teabags for home in the afternoon.) We'll also experience many Japanese craft styles, some of which include the ceramic hand building technique of Kurinuki and Japanese stitching technique of sashiko.
Participants will also have, as always, individual wheel throwing lessons in the morning or afternoon with an instructor in addition to the hand building class. Cooking, nature play, gardening and fiber arts will be included in…
